FAQs

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions that we are asked by Stall Holders and patrons of The Fitzroy Market:

How do I pay for my stall?
Click on the ‘Booking a Stall’ Page, then click on the Registration button. You will be directed through the process from there.

What happens if it rains?
Because the Fitzroy Market takes place over five hours once a month, we take pot luck with the weather. You are welcome to bring your own provisions – for example, plastic sheets, or a canope (as long as the canope is restricted to your stall).

As a stall holder, can I unpack my stuff at the gate and then park my car?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. We are restricted by the conditions of our council permit. As there is a lot of people that would need to do this it would create havoc on the day. If you have a standard stall you will need to park in your allocated area (George St or Napier St car park) and walk your stuff over. A great way to do this efficiently is to organise a trolley or friends to help before hand.

What time am I required to pack up the market day?
The market shuts at 3pm. You will need to pack up at that time and be off site by 4pm.

Why must I arrive during my allocated time?
Again, part of our council permit requires that we only allow stall holders on site from 9am onwards. We have staggered the times that people arrive to minimise traffic congestion and allow us to park everyone efficiently.

What is the size of my trestle table ?

1.8m X 75cm
